We are preparing to undertake works to relocate the Bus Interchange adjacent to the Commonwealth Bank to a new space on High Street.
This project will involve the construction of a covered walkway from the new Bus Interchange to the Centre, along with new asphalting and kerbing, minor landscaping and footpath improvements and the installation of new lighting.
The relocation of the Bus Interchange is designed to ease traffic congestion in the carpark and improve the amenity of Woodgrove.
While final details and timings are still to be confirmed, we expect works to be scheduled for completion by early next year.
During this time, alternative parking will be available near Barries Road and High Street (near the Food Court entrance).
Update from 21st September
We’re excited to inform our Woodgrove community of a key milestone as part of the Bus Stop relocation works. We have recently completed the construction of a sheltered walkway from the centre to the main road, and the widening of our disabled parking bays. Our disabled parking spaces in the northern carpark have been widened to provide more space for people with disabilities to move safely in and out of their cars.
